Sometimes I feel like brands are speaking to me. Calling Beauty is one of those. Their breakout product: a face mist. As I scroll through their Tik Tok and listen to the founder, Sabah, make jokes about life, love, singleness, and beauty, I am reminded that at the end of the day, we all have the same concerns. 

What Stands Out: 

She humanizes the brand by sharing her experiences as a city girl and uses Tik Tok to continue speaking to ‘City Girls’. She brings up relatable movies and their lessons, such as Elle Woods from Legally Blind and The Devil Wears Prada. Who doesn’t get a boost of confidence from watching those classics? 

How Does it Tie Together:


She shares how the brand is perfectly made for characters who we hold near and dear with lives that give us main character energy. By tying in how her product can be incorporated into the perfect morning and night routines that give us Elle Woods energy, she helps convince me that I can be my own star as well.
